Backups and site migrations
Restoring a backup
HostDango maintains regular backups of all accounts. To restore: log into cPanel → Files → Backup Wizard → click Restore and choose what you want to restore.
If you need us to restore from our server-side backups, open a support ticket with your domain name, what you need restored, and approximately when things were last working correctly.
Downloading a backup
cPanel → Files → Backup → Download a Full Account Backup. We recommend doing this regularly and keeping a copy somewhere safe.
Migrating your site to HostDango
We offer free migration assistance. Open a support ticket with your current host login credentials or a full cPanel backup file, your domain name, and any databases associated with the site. We'll handle the move and let you know when it's ready to verify before you update your DNS.
